Frame.io vs Dropbox Replay: which one for video review.
Both take comments at a timecode from a client with no account. Replay is an add-on to Dropbox; Frame.io is a review home of its own.

The short answer.
Pick Dropbox Replay when your files already live in Dropbox. It is an add-on at $12 a user a month ($10 billed yearly) on Dropbox Plus or higher, every plan gets 4 files without it, and it works inside Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve and Pro Tools. Comments export as XML, FCP XML, CSV and Avid Media Composer text, among others.
Pick Frame.io when you want a place built for review, with your team in it: $15 a member a month on Pro with 2 TB, a free plan for up to 2 members, and comment export for Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, Resolve and Media Composer. Frame.io’s own V4 guide says its DaVinci Resolve integration isn’t supported in V4, with comments going to Resolve as an EDL.
Side by side, with a third option.
Both are built for the cut and the people working on it. If your client also gets the stills, here is where DropYourFiles sits.
