Film counts by running time, and photos and other files by size against the room. The counts assume 69 MB a minute of film and 9 MB a photo, the averages on DropYourFiles today. ProRes and other large masters fill the room much faster. Earlier rounds of a film count too, until they are deleted seven days after your client approves, or for as long as you keep them. Bars use a square-root scale, so Free’s stays visible.
Go past your video hours or your room on a paid plan and nothing stops: your next invoice adds $1 for each hour of video and $0.03 for each GB over. On Free, uploads stop at 5 GB, and new films at 1 hour of video. Nothing is deleted. You make room or choose a plan. What happens past your plan

What happens past your plan.
Your plan sets your room and your video hours. Here is what happens when you reach either one.
Your video hours, on a paid plan
Nothing stops. You keep uploading, and each hour of video over your plan is $1 on your next invoice, counted in whole hours.
Your storage, on a paid plan
You keep uploading, and each GB over your plan is $0.03 on your next invoice, counted in whole GB.
A project you have not sent yet waits to go out until you are back under, add 100 GB for $5 a month, or move up a plan.
Your storage, on Free
An upload that would take you past 5 GB does not start, and a project you have not sent yet waits, until you make room or choose a plan. Nothing is charged: Free has no card.
Your video, on Free
Free holds 1 hour of video. A new film that would take you past it does not start until you make room or choose a plan. The films you already have keep playing.
Your client’s links
The links your client already has keep opening, and the downloads keep working.
More video hours
On any paid plan you can add 10 hours of video for $5 a month, and storage 100 GB at a time. On Studio and Enterprise you can add a team login for $15 a month.
If you store more than your plan includes, your next invoice adds $0.03 for each GB of storage and $1 for each hour of video over it, measured when that invoice is made. Earlier rounds of a film count too, until they are deleted seven days after your client approves, or for as long as you keep them. Terms
Paying and canceling.
Monthly or yearly
You pick the term at checkout, where you see the exact amount and the renewal terms before your card is charged. You enter your card on Stripe’s page, never ours.
Canceling
Cancel any time from Account, then Manage billing. It takes a moment and needs no email or phone call. Canceling stops the next renewal. There are no refunds for time already paid: your plan stays on until the end of the period you paid for, then it is not renewed for another month or year.
If you stop paying
Your studio moves to the free plan. Projects you have delivered are not deleted and the links you have sent keep working.

Questions
What you’ll want to know before your first link.
Does your client need an account?
No. Your client opens the link in any browser, on a phone or a computer. The first time your client leaves a note, they type their name. There is nothing to sign up for and no app to install.
Can I use my own branding?
Yes, on every plan, Free included. Your logo or name, your colors and your cover sit at the top of your client’s page, you choose how the work is laid out, and the emails your client gets carry your studio’s name. The link itself is on dropyourfiles.com. There are no custom domains.
How much film fits, and what about long films?
Film counts by running time: Free holds 1 hour, Solo holds 15 hours, Studio holds 50 hours and Enterprise holds 150 hours. On Solo that is about 10 films of 90 minutes, or about 300 films of 3 minutes. Photos and other files count by size against your room: 5 GB on Free, 1 TB on Solo, 2 TB on Studio and 6 TB on Enterprise. ProRes and other large masters fill the room much faster. Earlier rounds of a film count too, until they are deleted seven days after your client approves (or for as long as you keep them). On any paid plan you can add 100 GB for $5 a month. Compare every plan
I use Vimeo, Frame.io or Pixieset. How do I switch?
From Vimeo, you connect your account in Bring work in and bring your films over, folder by folder. From Frame.io, you connect your account in Bring work in and pick projects or folders: versions come over as versions, and comments arrive as notes on the files they belong to. A Frame.io download with its comments export works too. From Pixieset, you download a collection there and add the photos to a project. From Dropbox or Google Drive, you pick files straight into a project. SmugMug and ShootProof are not connected yet, so from those you download your files and upload them here. Compared with Vimeo
Which editing apps do the notes go into?
Final Cut Pro. You download your client’s notes as markers and they open in Final Cut as to-do markers you tick off as you cut. A line your client strikes out on the transcript arrives as a CUT marker over that stretch, and a highlight as a HIGHLIGHT marker. Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve are not supported yet. You can also download the notes as a spreadsheet or a plain list.
