Pixieset vs Pic-Time: which client gallery fits.

Both are photo galleries with a print store. Pixieset starts higher with less room; Pic-Time asks your main client to make an account.

Free up to 5 GB. No card. Read on each one’s own pages on October 29, 2026.

The short answer.

Pick Pixieset for a simpler gallery: your client picks favorites and leaves notes on each photo, prints sell with no commission on any paid plan, and your branding replaces Pixieset’s from the $10 Basic plan ($8 billed yearly, 10 GB). Video is sold by the hour, from 30 minutes on Basic.

Pick Pic-Time if you sell albums and want the sales tools: selection requests and album proofing on Professional ($25, or $21 billed yearly), and video by the gigabyte, with blocks up to 5 TB. Its entry plan costs less, $8 ($7 billed yearly) for 20 GB, but Pic-Time branding stays until Professional, and your main client signs in with an account and password.

Side by side, with a third option.

Neither takes your client’s notes at a moment in a film on the pages we read. If films are a big part of the job, here is where DropYourFiles sits as the third option.
