For producers and mix engineers
A Dropbox alternative for music producers.
“The snare in the second chorus is too loud.” The one at 2:10, or the one after the bridge?
Dropbox is where a lot of sessions live, and it’s good at that. Sending a mix to the artist for notes is a different job. Here the artist presses play in a browser, stops on the moment and types, and the note keeps the time. The mix plays from your own file, and the final WAV downloads from the same link.

What your client does on the link.
Your client watches
Your client opens the link on a phone or a computer and watches the film, with the photos right beside it. No account, no app to install.
Your client points at what to change
Your client pauses and types, and the note sticks to that second of the film. On a photo or a PDF page, your client taps the exact spot, and can draw on it.
Your client approves
When it’s right, your client presses Approve and confirms once. The watermark comes off. On a job with photos and film, your client can approve each one separately.
Your client downloads the finals
The full-size files open for download on the same link, one by one or all at once. You don’t send anything new.
Notes on the moment, not in a text thread.
The mix, played from your file
Upload a WAV, MP3, AIFF, M4A, FLAC, AAC, OGG or Opus file. WAV, MP3, M4A and FLAC play in any browser. AIFF plays in Safari, and in Chrome the player says so plainly, so send WAV if your artist uses Chrome.
A note at the exact moment
The artist presses Note this moment, types, and the note sits on the waveform at that second, with their name on it. Press the mark to open the note at that moment.
The next mix on the same link
Upload the new mix over the last one. The artist’s link doesn’t change, and the earlier mixes stay behind it, so the artist can play the last one again.
What the artist hears.
A track plays from the file you uploaded. There’s no review copy and no watermark on sound, because a mix is judged on the mix. So send the bounce you’re happy for the artist to hear at full quality.
The finals after Approve.
When the artist presses Approve and confirms, the files open for download on the same link: the master, the instrumental, and the stems in a folder of their own. You get an email when it happens. Tracks count toward your room, not your video hours: 5 GB on Free and 1 TB on Solo.
Where Dropbox suits you better.
Dropbox syncs your sessions to every computer you work on: Plus is $11.99 a month ($9.99 billed yearly) for 2 TB, read on dropbox.com/plans on October 29, 2026. Its Replay add-on, $12 a user a month ($10 billed yearly), takes comments at a moment on audio and works inside Pro Tools. If you want review inside your DAW, Replay is closer. If you want a page the artist opens on a phone, with your name at the top and the finals on it, that is this.
Questions.
Is there a Dropbox alternative for musicians?
For storing and syncing sessions, Dropbox does that job well. For sending a mix to an artist for notes and approval, a review link fits better: the artist plays it in a browser, leaves notes at moments, approves, and downloads the finals from the same page.
Which audio files play in the link?
WAV, MP3, M4A and FLAC in any browser. AIFF plays in Safari but not in Chrome, and the player says so when it happens. AAC, OGG and Opus upload too.
Does the artist need an account?
No. The artist opens the link in any browser and types a name with their first note. Managers and label people can do the same, each with their own name.
Can I send stems?
Yes. Put the stems in their own folder on the project. They download one by one or all at once after the artist approves.
What does it cost?
There’s a free plan with 5 GB of room and 1 hour of video, no card needed. Solo is $20 a month with 1 TB and 15 hours of video, and Studio is $59 a month for a team. Every feature is on every plan.
